James Brannan
Managing Director
James founded BlockByte in 2021 after building a rich background advising Australia’s biggest banks and fin-tech companies.
Prior to starting BlockByte, James worked as a strategy consultant at Monitor Deloitte. After leaving Monitor Deloitte in 2020, James joined STAX, a Web3 firm where he facilitated Australia’s first IPO that used stablecoins as part of a capital raise, a groundbreaking achievement making headlines across Yahoo, Global Newswire, CEO Magazine and Stockhead amongst others.
A regular speaker on live television as well as at investment and trading forums, James is passionate about empowering clients to grow their wealth through digital assets.
James holds a Bachelor of Business Management & Finance (1st Class Honours) from the University of West England and an RG146 to provide general advice on Managed Investments and Securities.
Kim Tran
Director of Operations
Kim leads Operations and Investor Relations at BlockByte where she brings sharp commercial acumen and strong stakeholder management skills to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Kim has an extensive background in corporate strategy consulting, in-house private equity and investment management.
Kim has worked for major consulting firms including Monitor Deloitte and KPMG, where she led teams to design and execute growth strategies and business transformation programs across global, ASX-listed and private companies. She is currently the Head of Strategy & Growth for a diversified family office where she oversees the performance of the investment fund and multiple portfolio businesses.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) from The University of Adelaide.
